You’re in Charge: Rules for Writers

Today I’m over at 4amwriter. The lovely (and disciplined) Kate didn’t make me get up at 4 am, but she did ask me some very interesting questions. Fun stuff like what I’d do if I lived in a world where I made all the rules for writers (and everyone must obey).

The following photos represent some of my answers. Pop on over to Kate’s to see the questions. πŸ™‚

Did you know that there are American Crocodiles in the Everglades? I just thought they were all alligators.

Note: I did not ask this guy/gal to clarify.Β

Happy Spring! Happy Passover! Happy Easter!

My backyard this morning. Doesn’t it look like spring?

Have an awesome kind of week.

  2. Thanks, the pictures are definitely diverse and interesting. I was hoping for an interpretive dance rendering of your answers to the interview questions but I’ll take what I can get.

  3. Oh my, Coleen, that snow storm had reach – at least from somewhere west of Kansas to Virginia. We had a foot Saturday through Sunday. It was beautiful, but good grief! I’m ready for spring sunshine. “Happy Spring! Happy Passover! Happy Easter!” to you, too!

  4. congratulations on your publication. I read your interview yesterday and then got caught up in life, that seems to be my excuse of late – life! I’ve been too tired to write at four and too tired to stay up late, thus no writing, and when I have time to write I am violating one of your rules! I like your rules and NO INTERNET is a good one! Have a great day.

    1. Thanks, Clay! I hear you on the catching up thing, sometimes that feels like all I’m doing! Turning off the internet is a start, except then when I get back on there’s catching up to do there too. πŸ™‚ lol

  5. The sight of that vacuum cleaner alarmed me, but then I spotted the white slash. To be successful, writers should avoid vacuuming, right? I’m all over that one.

Am heading over to 4amwriter now.

  6. Ooh Coleen, love the white stuff. We in sunny SoCal don’t see alot of that here. Yet, I know when you live with it, it can get old quick. But your yard looks beautful. Great pics. I’m on my way over to 4amwriter. I agree with Pat. Down with vacuums! πŸ™‚
